Many of us think that we will end up working for 1 company for our entire career. Todays statistic is that:
Fortune 500 Firms in 1955 vs. 2011; 87% Are Gone.
Yes! 87% of companies on the Fortune 500 list in 1955 are no longer on that list in 2011.
Companies like Apple, Cisco, Facebook, etc. were not around in 1955.
Think of what that could mean for the future. You could one day be working for a company that doesn't exist today!
The only constant is change!
