We grow by facing adversity, but people generally want to live a life of comfort. If we only faced comfortable situations - we'd never grow. The more adversity we face, the more we are prepared to face challenging tasks in the future.
Next time you face adversity, instead of dreading it, look upon it as an opportunity to grow.
James 1:2-4 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
